As the most developed city in the most developing country,
Shanghai has become one the most attractive cities in Asia
for its economic development, trades and cultures.
With its strategic location along the China coastline of the East China Sea,
Shanghai grew as the port city after the Opium war in the 19th century
and influenced by the mixed-cultures of west and east
during its semi-feudal and semi-colonial era for about 100 years.
After its liberation in 1949, this city then began to write
its history of development of the New China.
